Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to some commonly asked questions to help get you started.

What is a drone light show?
A drone light show is a live, choreographed performance in the sky using dozens—or hundreds—of LED-equipped drones.

Each drone acts as a single pixel in a massive aerial display. Together, they form animated shapes, logos, words, symbols, and scenes that move in perfect sync to music.

Drone shows offer the excitement and spectacle of fireworks without smoke, loud explosions, or environmental harm. They are quiet, precise, safe, and fully customizable, making them ideal for weddings, festivals, corporate events, holidays, proposals, and large public celebrations.

The cost of a drone light show depends on several factors, including:
  1. Number of drones
  2. Length of the show
  3. Animation complexity
  4. Location and travel requirements
  5. Music licensing and custom choreography
  6. Permitting and logistics

Small, intimate shows with 50 drones start at a lower investment and are perfect for weddings, proposals, and private events. Larger public or corporate shows with 100, 200, or 500+ drones require more planning, equipment, and staff, and therefore carry a higher cost.

Every Moko Drones show is custom-built to match your vision and your budget. We work with you to design a performance that delivers maximum impact within your range.

The right number of drones depends on your goals, venue, and audience size.
  • 100–200 drones – Great for brand reveals, resorts, concerts, and mid-sized public events. These allow for more detailed animations and smoother transitions.
  • 300–500+ drones – Best for large festivals, city celebrations, and major brand moments. These create high-resolution imagery, complex motion, and true “wow” factor at scale.

We help you choose the perfect size based on visibility, budget, and creative goals.

More drones means:
  • Higher “resolution” in the sky
  • Smoother animation and motion
  • More detailed logos, faces, and text
  • Larger visual footprint for big crowds
Think of it like screen resolution:
  • 50 drones = bold, simple shapes
  • 100–200 drones = detailed imagery and movement
  • 300–500+ drones = cinematic-scale visuals and storytelling

Every level delivers magic—the difference is scale and complexity.

Every Moko Drones performance includes:
  • Creative consultation and concept development
  • Custom animation design
  • Music selection and synchronization
  • Full flight planning and choreography
  • Licensed, insured, and certified pilots
  • On-site setup, testing, and execution

Yes. Safety is our top priority.

Moko Drones operates under strict aviation guidelines and industry best practices. All flights are planned in advance, geofenced, and monitored in real time. Our pilots are fully licensed and certified, and every show includes risk assessments, site planning, and contingency procedures.

Drone shows are far safer than fireworks and leave no debris, smoke, or fire risk behind.

We recommend booking at least 4–8 weeks in advance, especially for:
  • Holiday events
  • Festivals
  • Large public shows
  • Events requiring permits

However, if your event is approaching quickly, contact us anyway. We often accommodate shorter timelines depending on location and scope.
